These terms apply to every booking made with Silver Clouds (“we”, “us”), a wedding photography and films studio based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, and to the use of silverclouds.in. By paying a booking amount you accept these terms.

1. Bookings

A date is reserved only when the booking amount shown on your quote has been received and you have received a written confirmation from us on WhatsApp or email. Quotes are valid for the period shown on the quote page. Until the booking amount is paid, the date remains open to other couples.

2. Payments

Payments are collected in Indian Rupees through Razorpay payment links, UPI or bank transfer. The schedule of instalments is set out on your quote and booking confirmation. The full balance is due before final files, albums or films are handed over. Payment-gateway charges, if any, are shown before you pay.

3. Coverage

Our crew, hours and events are as listed in your confirmed quote. Additional hours, events, crew or travel requested on or before the day are charged at the rates on your quote and are payable with the final balance.

4. Deliverables and timelines

What you receive, and when, is set out in your quote and in our Delivery Policy. Timelines start from the last event covered and, for albums, from the date you approve your photo selection and layout.

5. Photo and film selection

Edited photographs are chosen by our editors from the full coverage. Raw, unedited files are not part of any package unless your quote says so. Album layouts include the number of revision rounds stated on your quote.

6. Copyright and use of images

Silver Clouds owns the copyright in all photographs and films we create. You receive a personal, non-commercial licence to print, share and display your photographs and films. We may use a selection of your images and films in our portfolio, website, social media and advertising. If you would prefer we did not, tell us in writing before the wedding and we will honour it.

7. Your responsibilities

Please share event timings, venue details and any venue or religious restrictions in advance. Where a venue limits our access or equipment, coverage is adjusted accordingly. Meals and reasonable accommodation for the crew are required for outstation events as described on your quote.

9. Unforeseen circumstances

If a confirmed crew member is unable to attend because of illness, accident or events beyond our control, we will provide an equally capable replacement at no extra cost. If an event cannot be covered because of circumstances beyond anyone’s control, we will reschedule where possible or refund amounts paid for the uncovered portion.

10. Liability

We take care of your files with multiple backups. In the unlikely event of loss or damage of files that cannot be recovered, our liability is limited to a refund of the amount paid for the affected deliverables.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction.
